In January of 2007 I injured my lower back and got a pinched nerve. After months of being prescribed different pain killers and only being able to stand for short periods of time, I heard about Mr Thomas Harper at Acclaim Pain Relief (now the Nuneaton Osteopathic Clinic). Then after three weeks of visiting the practice, I had no problem with my lower back. The pinched nerve in my lower back is now gone. If I could summarize my experience with Tom, I would say that he gave me back my life, and my peace of mind. How much is that worth!

Before I met Tom, some 7 years ago, I had suffered almost constantly with severe neck pain and headaches. After many visits to my Doctor and a referral to a specialist, I had still not received a solution to my problem.
I was at an all time low when a friend of mine introduced me to Tom. After my first consultation where we discussed the type of treatment I needed, including cranial osteopathy and a subsequent treatment, I felt better – somebody listened and understood my pain. Having been a back sufferer for many years…(Tom Harper, the osteopath) spent time in learning my history of back trouble and carried out a full examination of my back before diagnosing that I was suffering from a trapped nerve…
He would answer any questions I had with passion and would explain what he was going to do at every stage before carrying out the treatment.
The treatment I received was different from that of other osteopaths I had used before. Apart from the normal manipulation he spent time stretching muscles… Also I was given some kind of electric therapy (Interferential electrotherapy)… it gave a relaxing massage.

I suffered from Migraines since the age of 13. I was given prescriptions after prescriptions, without much relief from the pain. After years of suffering with no real relief, I went to see Thomas at his practice, and am so grateful that I did. I am off of all the pills, and my normal week that use to include a minimum of 3 migraines, is gone.
