Headaches, migraines – treatment at Nuneaton Osteopathic Clinic

Headaches and migraines can put a serious dent in your day (or week) if you regularly suffer from them. Many are caused by stress or tension in the neck and shoulder area or poor posture at work (bent over a computer for 6-8 hours a day doesn't help, or repeatedly lifting lifting any objects above shoulder height)

This repeated minor trauma to the neck and shoulder muscles can cause muscle fatigue, weakness and eventually muscle scarring and adhesions. These adhesions make muscles ineffective and they eventually become sore and tight. If this happens to the muscles in the neck and shoulder area, they can cause neck and shoulder stiffness, pain and eventually the muscles pull at the base of the skull which can lead to headaches and migraines.

Osteopathy can relieve the tension, stiffness and muscular soreness that often are the cause of this debilitating condition and prevent it from re-occuring with regular maintenance treatment.

Call today to make an appointment or find out how osteopathy at the Nuneaton Osteopathy Clinic can help your recurrent headache or migraine problem.
